Key English Test (KET)
Designed for learners with basic entry-level English, able to understand short texts, and to use simple survival English.

Preliminary English Test (PET)
Designed for people with a wider range of vocabulary, able to hold longer conversations on familiar topics, and to write simple letters or notes. A useful preparation for higher level examinations.

First Certificate in English (FCE)
The most popular of the Cambridge General English examinations, FCE is widely recognised as an important English qualification which demonstrates a good command of English for many practical purposes. Successful candidates are able to deal with a range of everyday situations in English, construct and follow arguments, and show an awareness of formal and informal language.

Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
Suitable for candidates who have reached a level of English adequate for most purposes, including writing in a variety of registers, and the ability to participate in relatively sophisticated discussions on familiar and unfamiliar topics, CAE is recognised by universities and employers worldwide.

Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
Recognised by a number of professions such as business, medicine, and engineering, and by almost all British universities, as well as many other educational institutions worldwide, CPE represents a very advanced level of English, approaching a level of English similar to that of an educated native speaker. In addition to extremely competent language skills, suitable candidates will have an appropriate maturity and educational background. The highest level Cambridge examination.
